Ms Dana... Pushing Out Into The Deep

For the last decade, The Answer Inc has been a humungous resource to the parents of children with Autism and other Developmental Disorders - in and around the proviso township area. As most often is the case, these parents are raising their children without the resources that they need and/or no one to relate to their struggles. Ms Dana Bryant, has been a part of the Answer Inc Family for about a year and a half now, and like most parents, she came thru our doors looking for resources to help ensure that her daughter Daja had everything that she needed, and found that and, a whole lot more.
Dana's story started with a friend who knew that her daughter was on the autism spectrum, and recommended our director - Debra Vines, to Dana. Her friend insisted that Debra was a great resource in the community and someone that Dana should definitely know. Dana felt that she was doing an ok job with her daughter as it relates to her school, her therapies, etc... but after making an appointment and meeting with Debra for the first time, Dana was blown away by all that The Answer Inc was doing for the families that they serve. She was especially happy to learn about our support services and the opportunity to connect with a group of moms who could relate to the things she was going thru... and, that The Answer Inc maintained a calendar of recreational events for both the moms and the children.
In that initial meeting, Debra really poured into Dana, making her fully aware of her rights, introducing her to the puns list, and teaching her about respite care. With her cup running over, Dana had shared a bit about the struggles she had overcame with her IEP - and Debra, seeing the fight in her, offered to train her to become one of The Answer Inc's IEP specialists. Pushing out into the deep, Dana gave her the green light to use her in whatever capacity she saw fit and just a year and a half later, she has gone on to become our office manager, our program coordinator for Spectrum University, and one of our IEP specialist who takes great joy in helping other parents ensure that their children have everything that they need.
We believe Dana to be a GOD sent, as she has been an awesome addition to The Answer Inc Family, and we are ever grateful for everything that she does, and how she does it with so much joy. For the last decade, we have been helping the families that we serve - with that same joy, and as we renew our commitment to being the best Autism Awareness & Support Agency in the Chicagoland area, we hope we can depend on you throughout the decade to come.
